Roxy has been practicing exclusively in the area of family law since 2011, when she became a member of the Law Society in Alberta. Roxy has extensive litigation experience both at the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta, including running trials in both courts. For the past 5 years, Roxy has developed a practice as a mediator and mediator/arbitrator and this now constitutes the majority of her practice.
Roxy has volunteered at the Women’s Centre delivering free legal advice through their clinic for the past six years, and at various other legal clinics offered through the YWCA or Pro Bono Law Alberta.
Prior to her career in law, Roxy worked with adults with disabilities through various agencies, worked for Camosun College and the University of Victoria as either an instructor or graduate teaching assistant, and ran her own business tutoring high school and university students in physics, math, calculus and chemistry.
