Daniela is a lawyer in Costa Rica and a Student-at-Law with TPW Family Law in Alberta, with over ten years of experience in Canada. Daniela spent eight years with the Canadian Red Cross, primarily as Violence and Abuse Prevention Program Manager for the Province of Alberta. She also worked as a Contracts Specialist with the International Office at the University of Calgary for two years. In Costa Rica, she practiced law for over five years and contributed as an external consultant to the Ministry of Labour on various initiatives funded by the Government of Canada.  

Daniela holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Costa Rica and a Master of Arts in International Law from the United Nations Mandated University for Peace. She completed the Foreign Trained Lawyers Program Post-JD Certificate at the University of Calgary and has mediation training from Costa Rica, enhancing her empathetic approach to conflict resolution. As a mother of three, she brings compassion to her work, ensuring that her clients feel understood.  

She is also a board member of the Circle of Wisdom Elders and Seniors Centre in Calgary. In her free time, Daniela enjoys camping, hiking, biking, swimming, and cooking. She loves travelling with her family, especially to Costa Rica. Daniela loves learning from different people and cultures.
